Practice Exam
A practice examination is available to help candidates increase familiarity with the registration examination style and format. The practice examination uses the same platform as the registration examination and therefore replicates its look and feel. The practice examination is taken with a remote proctor.
The practice examination is taken in the privacy of your own home anywhere in the world with a secure internet connection and has the following features:
- Availability is restricted to registered candidates for the upcoming examination administration.
- Purchase of the practice examination is single-use only.
- The booking window for the practice examination opens after the booking window for the CPSCP Registration Examination has closed.
- Booking the practice exam follows the same procedures as booking the CPSCP Registration Examination.
- Short assessment in the style of the CPSCP Registration Examination.
- Uses the same platform as the CPSCP Registration Examination.
- Requires the same minimum technical and internet connectivity standards as the CPSCP Registration Examination.
- Accessed using the same portal as the CPSCP Registration Examination (https:monitoredusched1.com/schedule-an-exam).
- Uses a remote proctor to launch and support test-takers.
There are four simulations in the practice examination that take approximately 90 minutes to complete.
An auto-generated report appears on-screen upon completion of the practice examination. It contains the test-taker’s overall score in information-gathering and in decision-making. The practice examination does not provide item by item results. No answer key is provided.
The practice examination is scored based on the responses that the test-taker has given in each section of the assessment. Each section of each simulation has been assigned a “pass score” based on good client care in the context of the section.
No record of the practice examination responses or results is retained by COMPASS.
